Most of the users are using the mod version of whatsapp due to high features which are very funny and importantly to hide the personal privacy. I think that is the main reason behind using the mod version of whatsapp like yowhatsapp, gbwhatsapp, whatsapp plus etc. All these having in coded with smooth features that every users love to use.
I am not a big fan of these aps due to the security issues. I am using the original version since it is provided high security on our text and video chat, and no fear to get ban our whatsapp account.
And that is whats is making mod version whatsapps different from original whatsapp versions. It is all looks like whatsapp and having in difference on the settings and in some graphics. In UX format all looks like same. some of the icons may be or logo may be change. and all look like original whatsapp.
the third party developers not play with the whatsapp graphics instead only works on adding best features. Thats all.
